Moneyland vs Money Rush
Moneyland offers a more engaging tycoon-style experience, but both apps are heavily criticized for excessive ads and significant bugs, making neither a clear winner.
Moneyland and Money Rush are both free-to-play games with in-app purchases, but both suffer from pervasive ad issues and significant technical problems according to user reviews. Moneyland aims for a city-building tycoon experience, while Money Rush is a simpler, fast-paced money collection game.
Head to head
Pick Moneyland if you enjoy tycoon-style city-building games and are willing to tolerate significant bugs and a misleading 'no ads' purchase, hoping for future fixes R8.
Pick Money Rush if you prefer a simpler, faster-paced money collection game and are prepared for very short levels, frequent ads, and potential privacy concerns .
Evidence note: Both apps are free with in-app purchases, and much of the negativity for both stems from the ad experience, which is common for free-to-play mobile games. Moneyland's lifetime rating is slightly higher, but recent reviews for both are heavily negative due to bugs and ads. Money Rush has significantly more ratings, suggesting a larger user base, but its privacy concerns are particularly alarming.

- [R3] Moneyland Help!!!: I’m early on in the game, and I’ve u locked all buildings on my level. However, it isn’t pushing me through to a new map. Is this a glitch? Or did i beat the game? Or???
- [R5] Moneyland It’s ok: Once I got so far there was no option for me to expand or anything it said good job you completed this area but it didn’t move me to a newer area. Do you know why this would happen? Is there like something that happened because I’m not sure what to do so I uninstalled because I couldn’t do anything else. Tell me if update please!

- [R10] Moneyland Fix please: I love this game but even after 2-3 updates claiming to fix where players are stuck on a level, I’m still stuck. Everything’s been unlocked and expanded and it won’t let me move on.
- [R1] Moneyland Paying for “No Ads” doesn’t really mean No Ads: The game would be perfect 5 stars, but when you pay $2.99 for “No Ads”, it doesn’t stop you having to watch a 30-60 second ad for every single upgrade (which you encounter AT LEAST once a minute) - it just removes the ad bar from the bottom. Very misleading, and a huge waste of money.
- [R4] Moneyland Lag and Adds: The game is a great game and $3 isn’t to bad. However your basically forced to pay it due to a insane amount of adds.. literally every other second along with after each add they ram the whole $2.99 to go free ad in your face. You can’t even begin to enjoy to try the game without them forcing this on you followed by lag and crashing throughout the game.
- [R6] Moneyland Push ads really: It would be five but YOU HAVE PUSH ADS TAKE IT OFF WHEN SOMEONE BUYS NO ADS. like are y’all free, will y’all even respond to this comment I wonder. But I’m your next up take it off. I paid for no ads for a reason please.
- [R13] Moneyland Garbage: I bought the $3 no ads thing and I’m still getting ads I want my money back.
- [R7] Moneyland Glitched: A couple updates ago, there was a certain amount of the city you could unlock feasibly, and the next area unlock costed 100 Million to unlock, well I got 5 million out of the 100 million, when they updated the game and reset my area progress, my ability to get to the next area is now locked because I have 4,895,000/300,000 and it can’t go any further than that. Now I’m stuck and the rese

- [R51] Moneyland what just happened??: the game is a lot of fun but the envelope started blinking then it wanted me to claim something, but i didnt care and immediately clicked “done”. as soon as I clicked “done” it said my phone is hacked. i could only read that sentence but i wasnt really scared. i know about scams and such, but why could you do this to your game? why are you trying to scam me and/or hack me? i
- [R76] Money Rush Who needs personal information for just 5 USD game: When I said the title I mean it first thing that popped said “ask app to track address” bro WHAT THE HECK. - [R17] Moneyland Fun but buggy: This is honestly a game I keep coming back to because it’s fun the only thing I don’t like is that the last few times I go back to play I can’t do anything I put in a bug report that was for me not being able to make money at all like no starting cash no nothing they got it fixed and the update was like a day or two later so I was fine with that but after they fixed that I had been
- [R19] Moneyland Fun but filled with bugs: Everytime an update is released to fix bugs, it’s released with even more bugs. The game was fun when it worked, but now so many bugs make it not even worth playing.
