1. [R3] CapCut 3/5 · US Pay walls: This is not my kind of cake. Pay walls just to do simple things? In my opinion, it’s a little greedy, but it’s probably my fault that I don’t have enough money for this, it’s not a bad product if you got the money.

[R31] CapCut 1/5 · US This app used to be good: I have used CapCut for many years and never in my life did I have to pay to use simple editing features in my life, CapCut has become insanely greedy recently and it’s just annoying, you have to pay for EVERYTHING nowadays. Also the use of ai is just crazy, just make your on dang videos yourself, there is no need for ai.

Within the last month or so I can no longer export 4K videos without my phone overheating and it taking a ridiculously long amount of time to export a vid. I tried turning off HDR, I tried another phone, same problem. So it’s not my phone. I’ve had to switch to CapCut. Don’t know what you guys upgraded, but it suck

7. [R72] InShot 3/5 · US Easy to use, impossible to save: I love how easy it is to edit with this app BUT WHY CAN IT NOT DOWNLOAD MY VIDEOS ONCE THEY’RE DONE?!?! If the video is longer than 15 seconds, it fails 100 times before I can actually save it to my phone. This is so consistent that I’m thinking of switching to a different editing app.

When it works, see a lot of time when I use this app it forces me to delete photos and videos and files off of my phone if I am am even CLOSE to being out of storage. Now I know, technically that is my fault for being out of storage, but even when I’m not it still says “You need storage. Try it now.” I only gave it two stars because it is just an OK editing app.

And it wants money? I'm a poor person with no money, so I can't export it, hahaha. Even if you say this feature requires payment, when the pop-up appears, can you at least let me click on the paid feature, the one that might be called "hell" or something, so I can be directed to it when I'm using this thing? I've searched everywhere and can't find it. Isn't that ridiculous? Are you happy about this? Also, when I open an effect or a transition and try to search for it, I can't find it and it keeps lagging. I checked my network, restarted my network, restarted my phone, and even used someone else's phone. Their phone works, but mine doesn't display it. Is it my phone's performance or your problem? Many are extremely hard, sometimes impossible, to close. It interrupts workflow and makes the app frustrating to use. This is the number‑one complaint I hear from other users too. The app would be fantastic if the ad experience wasn’t so aggressive.

[R46] CapCut 1/5 · US Used to be my favorite app in the world: I should start off by saying I’ve been using CapCut for 5 years and it’s always been my most cherished app for editing and I recommended it to EVERYONE. The main reason I loved it was because it didn’t stupidly make almost everything require a membership and I was able to make my videos without having to drop an insane amount of money a month just to do so
