Routine Planner vs Structured
Structured is the better choice for most users due to its robust features and long-standing user satisfaction, despite recent negative feedback regarding updates, while Routine Planner lacks sufficient user reviews for a comprehensive comparison.
Structured is a highly-rated daily planner app with a strong user base, praised for its productivity features and aesthetic design, though recent updates have caused frustration for some users. Routine Planner, while having a good lifetime rating, has no user reviews provided for a direct comparison.
Head to head
You are looking for a routine planner and are willing to explore an app without current user review insights, or if you prefer a simpler interface that might be offered by a less feature-rich app.
Evidence note: The comparison for Routine Planner is severely limited by the absence of user reviews, making it impossible to assess its features, ease of use, reliability, price/value, or support. All insights are derived solely from Structured's reviews. Structured's recent negative reviews about updates contrast with its high lifetime rating, indicating a recent decline in user satisfaction.

- [R2] Structured My favourite!: I’ve had this app for years and use it integrated with my iCal & Reminders in addition to using it as my daily planner to get my stuff done and utilising the inbox to keep track of those random things you remember at the most inconvenient of times! On my days off I use it to plan out the things I need to get done and use the focus tool to hold me to account but also to demonstrate
- [R3] Structured literally nothing wrong with it: can we just stop forcing ai into everything. wish it was optional/could be removed from task bar
- [R6] Structured Good?: I've been using this app regularly since October 2022, so going on 3 years now, I do love the app, it's great for students and people who are struggling mentally and are trying to get into routine, but I have a few new problems that have arisen. First, the AI for this app, it is good if you want to add tasks if you're in a rush, but not good if you want to lengthen any tasks - I asked the A
- [R8] Structured Very Productive app!: Loveeeeeee this app! It’s helped me so much with productivity and be more intentional about how I manage my time.
- [R1] Structured Updates ruining an app: This app is the perfect example of why you don’t just keep updating things for the sake of it. Every update in the last 6 months has made the app slower, uglier, less functional, made features worse or just unusable.
- [R5] Structured From 5* to 1*: This app was life changing for me; easy, fun, quick, efficient, ADHD and user friendly. Since recent update, I am struggling with it. It’s confusing, takes longer, double, treble click, why? I like the idea of changing days either way full view calendar pop up instead of scrolling to the new date, but ruined by a messy calendar filled with notifications and agenda ms in the boxes,
- [R7] Structured New Update: New update is preventing me from reaching the colour and Icon changer, which I find very important The box is now tiny and I can't use it and please may you fix it
- [R9] Structured Love the app, but the event time selector is a nightmare: The Structured app has garnered considerable admiration for its aesthetic design and overall utility. However, there exists a particular feature that has proven to be quite frustrating: the process of setting start and end times for events. The time selector, it appears, is unnecessarily complicated and lacks user-friendliness. A minor err
- [R12] Structured Great App - Often Un-syncs Calendar: I do love this app however, every so often my iCloud Calendar un-sync’s. Today, I have tried everything to get the app to sync back up but to no avail. The options I have tried are log in/out on all devices. Update on all devices. Log back in on all devices. Re-check calendar settings - all ok. I quit the app and go back in - still not syncing! Any suggesti
- [R25] Structured Avoid: Downloaded and paid for the pro desktop version - awful. Really buggy, is slow, the interface isn’t great and overall its not very UX/UI friendly. I don’t want to keep clicking on buttons over and over before they respond. Didn’t bother with the iPhone app, canceled the trial straight away.
- [R27] Structured Widgets don’t work: This app does the job and provides a decent view of my day, however the widgets show a permanent loading state. I’ve tried removing and re-adding the widgets. It even shows the widget working correctly in the widget preview. It just doesn’t work once added to a home screen. Very annoying and reduces the utility of the app by a massive amount.
- [R29] Structured Was once a perfect App in every way, not NOW!: I paid for a lifetime for this App which worked perfectly until two updates ago. Two updates ago broke iCloud syncing which worked perfectly 100% of the time in the last near two years. Help pages & customer support was useless, both giving the answer to update to their so called more reliable Structured Cloud for syncing which is far from the case. W
- [R4] Structured Good: Good app but mostly every useful tool is for money, useless
- [R19] Structured Too expensive: This App is quite good. I wanna buy a lifetime version but it is too expensive.
- [R21] Structured Paid for life time previously - not allowed to restore purchase: I paid for a life time purchase in a previous version I reinstalled the app today and it is now saying that it does not recognise my previous lifetime purchase. Is this a money grab especially as I had already purchased a lifetime version. It clearly was not lifetime as advertised.
- [R31] Structured Once worked 100% perfectly, not now!: I purchased the lifetime licence for this once I figured it all out and discovered the iCloud syncing was flawless & worked seamlessly in the background. Two updates ago this stopped with an error, nothing synced anywhere no matter what I tried, wasted double digit hours trying to get working, factory restores, unauthorised iCloud access, reauthorised, the lis
- [R13] Structured Hate the new update!!: Please change it back, it was so much easier to navigate and use before. Since the update it takes me way longer to plan my routine!
- [R28] Structured Okay: Wow very impressed but it needs to have louder notifications and i think the icons are a bit rubbish even if you are not paying it doesnt mean that you should put a price on iicons I mean the are just pictures and y The app could do so much better if it had a repeat thing so this it repeats in the week
- [R33] Structured Honest Review: It’s very nice but way to many things need the premium pack 😔
- [R37] Structured I downloaded this for help, not to pay money.: I downloaded this thinking it would be really good, to help me plan my very unorganised day. However the biggest issue is you can’t make events that you have set repeat. If you wanted to set an event called “get dressed” and you wanted to make it an event that happens every single day, you would have to individually make it 365 times for 1 year. Or of
