- [R1] Manobook Wish you had better options: The stories are good, enough to keep me interested. Having to watch so many videos for a chapter that I read in less than half the time I spend watching videos is nonsense, but I can’t bring myself to spend what would be at least 30 dollars or more to read a book that if it had regular chapters it would probably only be maybe a 40 to 50 chapter book. At least other App
- [R7] Manobook Good stories, read for free: I love this app because you can read chapters for free by watching ads. Much better compared to some of the other apps which you can read only by paying a lot for coins. Would definitely recommend this app!
- [R51] Storyaholic If I could give it a negative start I would: App is ridiculous with how many adds you have to watch to earn anything for next chapter. There are better apps out there. And good thing some books are available elsewhere and I can just buy the whole book and not over pay here.
- [R56] Storyaholic Good story plots: The story lines are great, but the amount to purchase vouchers is quite high.
- [R32] Manobook Amazing: So far this is one of the best apps that I have used only wish there was a way to go straight to the rewards center from the story that is being read I have to exit go to the reward center and then find my story again but apart from that it’s a really good app
- [R44] Manobook Best App: This app is great. It’s easy to use and doesn’t really give me a headache like most others would considering that they give a great option for purchasing the necessary to continue reading if the ads aren’t enough. Great app. Definitely worth recommending.
- [R63] Storyaholic Not easy to use: I was looking for short stories instead of longer novels. This app, with “shirt story” right in the title, seemed promising. However, I have several book apps already- All of them easier to use and find what you want. Additionally, I can’t find short stories in it at all- all of them are hundreds of chapters so far. Filtering by length is not an option. There is no “short story” s
- [R100] Storyaholic Just started: I’m just starting to use this app. I got sucked into a story and of course I have to finish it. So, in comparison with other reading apps it does seem as if the free coins/vouchers are on the low side for the amount required to unlock chapters. It’s designed to get you to purchase vouchers. However there is no option for an unlimited reading like other apps. Definitely be aware of wh
- [R4] Manobook Hard to understand!: I purchased a weekly subscription thinking that meant I’d have a seven day access to my book. Yeah that apparently isn’t true. I got like two days then it’s made me watch ad after ad to read the next chapter. Then after so many then it wouldn’t even let me do that anymore. It’s making me watch other ads with very few points with each just trying to get enough to read the next
- [R34] Manobook My review: I love this app!! And I enjoy the stories. What I don’t like about the app is that when you get close to the end of some of the stories the coins needed to open a new chapter all of a sudden are so high it is hard to access the ending without having to purchase coins. A real bummer!!!
- [R54] Storyaholic Books worth the coins-app is odd: I have rated this app one star because of their very poor customer service. The app has split chapters for books I have already purchased and read to 100% and after the split make the chapters I’ve read locked. The chapters are still locked after many months of waiting. My rating of the app will increase in stars when my chapters are finally unlocked as the mult
- [R60] Storyaholic Thieves: The app restructured some books so the chapters split differently than how the author uploaded them. It makes it so already purchased chapters split and you have to repurchase to read. Contacting customer support has resulted in no progress.
- [R3] Manobook Gets expensive: As much as I love this reading on this app, it gets too expensive. 250 coins for a chapter is robbery! And not many ways to get coins except buying, as much as I love the app I’ll have to delete it. Three star for the ridiculous amount of coins it cost for a chapter after you’re already caught up in a book and want to know the ending.
- [R10] Manobook Good reads: These stories are great and keep you engaged. Just wish it was less expensive.
- [R65] Storyaholic Way too expensive: You wind up spending $80 to finish the story you’ve become engrossed in, absolutely ridiculous
- [R91] Storyaholic Terribly Expensive: I don’t mind paying for the books. However, if I’ve dropped in the $20 or more range that should be more than enough to get the entire book. I certainly should not be having to submit edits as I go either. Such a disappointing experience and I refuse to purchase anything further so I guess I won’t see how it ends.
- [R57] Storyaholic Multiple apps and none you can actually cancel: DO NOT SIGN UP OR PAY A CENT HK/iReader own multiple pay-per-chapter apps and at some point I’ve downloaded a couple. I found a truly free reading app with no stolen stories and quit using ppc apps but have been unable to cancel my iReader account for 6 months! I’ve emailed the developer many times with no results. I’m ready to cancel my PayPal accou
- [R83] Storyaholic Expensive app to read books and they upped the price by 33% without notice: This app is expensive to read the the owner of this app also owns other ones. It costs over $100 to read an ebook if you buy coins to read and that went up by 33% when they upped the price of each chapter. You can’t message the help center without downloading another app because they can’t and won’t help you in the app bec
