Solitaire.com vs Solitaire-Classic Deluxe Cards
For a more reliable and less frustrating Solitaire experience, Solitaire-Classic Deluxe Cards has a slight edge over Solitaire.com, despite both struggling with ad frequency and technical issues.
Both Solitaire.com and Solitaire-Classic Deluxe Cards are free Solitaire apps plagued by excessive ads and performance issues. While Solitaire.com users report frequent freezing and unplayable ad experiences, Solitaire-Classic Deluxe Cards faces criticism for being too easy and having aggressive, sometimes broken, ads and update prompts.
Head to head
You prioritize a game with 'Journey' challenges and are willing to tolerate frequent freezing and an overwhelming number of ads, hoping for a 'new version' fix R4.
You prefer a Solitaire game that is generally more reliable in terms of performance, even if it might be too easy and has aggressive, sometimes broken, ads and update prompts .
Evidence note: Both apps have a high volume of negative reviews related to ads and performance, despite high lifetime ratings. The free-to-play model likely contributes to the negativity from non-paying users experiencing ad friction. Solitaire.com has a significantly larger number of reviews, but the issues reported are very similar across both apps.

- [R4] Solitaire.com Freezes: I would rate this game 4 or 5 stars but it has become really slow and laggy. I enjoy the “Journey” challenges so the freezing and lagginess makes the timed challenges very frustrating. Please fix asap. Thank you.
- [R28] Solitaire.com Hmmmm: Not crazy about the “auto finish”
- [R33] Solitaire.com Read: It always does most of the work for me I really don’t like that
- [R36] Solitaire.com Kinda sad: I love solitaire but when I downloaded the app I was told there was a freecell game mode and a spider game mode an I haven't been able to find either way I misinformed?also there are lots of adds every minute or so and that really is irritating.
- [R1] Solitaire.com Bogs down: I purposely seemed this particular game out because I loved it so much when I first downloaded it onto my IPad but now it’s a pain to play. It is extremely slow and locks up. I suppose I will have to search for something else =(
- [R9] Solitaire.com Lagging lately: I love this game. It used to go faster. Lately it seems like the cards get stuck. I even updated my phone thinking it was that but the cards are still sticking. Also too many ads.
- [R22] Solitaire.com Update: The game is slow and freezing now
- [R16] Solitaire.com I said no to update. Waited and said no again. Deleted the game nut the same I was playing is stuck.: Yuck
- [R3] Solitaire.com Liar ! Ads Ads Ads . No ads is a lie !: I played 2 games & had to wait on a Ad to finish - to play another game - just like games that don’t promise no ads !
- [R6] Solitaire.com Not bad but still ads: I am trying to find a simple solitaire without any ads and without paying for it. I guess this one has less ads than other games.
- [R7] Solitaire.com Excessive ads: There are so many ads that the game is becoming unplayable.
- [R10] Solitaire.com Ads: Too many ads
- [R34] Solitaire.com Game keeps freezing and lagging: The issue with over abundance of ads seems to be resolved. However the games continually freezes after turning about 3 cards on my iPad. I contacted Fetch and the told me to go the Settings and toggle WiFi off/on. Doesn’t really help. Totally frustrated.
- [R15] Solitaire.com Great app but WAY too many ads: I’d love to pay to remove them but the app doesn’t support that. I’ll finish a game, have a pop up ad play, then after the ad ends I’ll click “New Game” and get another ad. Two ads within 30 seconds and one button press is insane. I appreciate that they keep the app free for us to use but I’d literally give my own money to have a more seamless app experience here. R
- [R18] Solitaire.com Plenty of Ads: Loved the game, very fun with nice animations, however I deleted the game, the ads got to be too much, I would get an ad after I finished a game, then it would display my score then make me watch another ad before I start another game! They are double dipping!
- [R12] Solitaire.com Too many Ads: It’s one of the nicest Solitaire games. Why don’t you just charge a few bucks to stop the ads.
