- [R2] Speech to Text Dictation AI No titles, retired from active work.: This is an excellent app for any dictation, from a small note to a book writing. It cooperates in numerous ways. Accidentally deleting is no problem! 🙏👌
- [R3] Speech to Text Dictation AI not thrilled: Gave it plenty of time, and unfortunately too late to cancel the yearly charge. It’s not terribly responsive. It’s not even as responsive as the built-in mic in the iPhone. Substitutes wrong words, regardless of proximity to the phone. I’m sure there are better ones out there.
- [R6] Speech to Text Dictation AI could be better: The app frequently doesn’t understand what’s being said and so puts wrong words into the text. Also there should be a way to copy a section of the text without it only offering “copy all” as the only option.
- [R8] Speech to Text Dictation AI Excellent app! I love it!: After 2 years it gets better and better. As an author this is a great tool for notes and easy transfer to emails and text messages! Translations too! Get it now! You are missing out! I’m a PhD and use this everyday for notes, texts, and emails.
- [R21] Speech to Text Dictation AI Unable to use mic always: I am trying to write a book and this is good but I feel could be much better much room for improvement. Everything that this types I have to proof read. I find I can do things just as fast typing that speaking and go back and correct. I'm not a solid fan of this as of yet.
- [R33] Speech to Text Dictation AI Accuracy is marginal.: Deleting app after the month is over. Not worth the time I have to spend correcting all the errors. Accuracy is about 60%.
- [R57] Speech to Text Dictation AI It Works!!: Works with a simple Headset mic. Quiote a few errors but still metter than typing, most of the corrections are done as part of the text edit I would do anyway Usualy dictate several pafes and then past into word - Word works better tan Pages for this
- [R65] Grammarly A great way to make sure that you are looking out for the best way to write: It is a great way to make sure that that what you write is not incoherent.
- [R10] Speech to Text Dictation AI Used to be Better: I have been using Dictate for a couple years. Each update makes it worse and worse. It now stops recording in the middle of talking and in order to keep recording you have to shut the app down and reopen it. If you have to correct an error (which doesn’t bother me it makes errors) it will mess up your formatting and when you start talking again, you it puts an uppercase lette
- [R16] Speech to Text Dictation AI Perpetual Bugs, but generally functional: I got this app because I do a lot of report writing. Most of the time, it works alright with voice recognition, but if you dictate for too long, it will randomly reposition your cursor and start typing into already dictated sections. The editing headaches from it can take just as long as typing out what you originally intended. Multiple updates have not fi
- [R25] Speech to Text Dictation AI I bought the year they canceled me 30 days later don’t buy from them: They cancelled my yearly subscription after 30 days and during the 30 days they kept kicking me off so I had to keep signing back in so they are a scam don’t waist your money.
- [R31] Speech to Text Dictation AI Update: Cancelled: Zero support. I reported a serious error and all I got was ‘it’s not us’. I don’t pay for broken apps.
- [R28] Speech to Text Dictation AI PAID APP: Requires subscription and in-app purchases. This should be flagged as such.
- [R32] Speech to Text Dictation AI Great!: I have no real complaints good app works well, does what it advertised. Affordable. :)
- [R38] Speech to Text Dictation AI So far so good: This works wonderfully for this first hour. I sure hope you do not ask for money later. The other app gave me a free trail. I speak highly of you to others as long as it’s free and works well.
- [R39] Speech to Text Dictation AI No trial for 1 month subscriptions: Wishing I could have tried this app before handing over my credit card but they wanted me to sign up for an annual subscription in order to try it. Sorry, thats some gimmick sales tactics and I won’t be trying it.
- [R49] Speech to Text Dictation AI Bruh: U cant even open it without paying
- [R54] Speech to Text Dictation AI For "Free" read £16.99.: Yes, this is yet another of those apps that carries a claim to have a free element but will do absolutely f.a. until the £16.99 `annual subscription fee has been paid.. Compared with the current price of Dragon Dictate this is peanuts, so why try to pretend that that it is free & hide the real cost?
- [R75] Grammarly Make a different tier: The app is great, it does what’s needed but can experience glitches often I always just close the app and restart it. Honestly there should be a cheaper tier option with better features solely for students because 30$ a month is crazy for a grammar software, small business owners and individuals with vested occupational interest could possibly afford that but students who wa
- [R85] Grammarly Beware: I was going to sign up for a monthly plan, to try it out. They charged my account $90 for a yearly. I tried immediately to cancel and tried to find a contact number. So just be careful
- [R99] Grammarly Be careful with subscriptions: I wanted to try a 7-day free trial of the Pro with Grammarly. I wanted to see how much I would use it, is it worth the next cost and how good the service actually is. The service is good, I’ll grant Grammarly that. However, I personally realised I did not have enough use of it to justify paying for the £120 annual Pro subscription and had planned to cancel. Due to an
- [R4] Speech to Text Dictation AI Don’t buy if you use G mail: I go into the directions online and discover that it doesn’t function with Gmail. It suggest using some Apple app. Don’t waste your time with this app.
- [R47] Speech to Text Dictation AI Very helpful: Easy to use, I can email the transcript to myself. Highly recommend.
- [R48] Speech to Text Dictation AI Experienced Voice Dictation User: The App works really efficiently and well in its own window. It is fast and accurate and responds to commands. It does not however compared with estanlished non-apple products such as Dragon, in that it cannot type into non- app spaces eg word, Excel etc. In order to achieve typing into these apps one has to use copy and paste, an extra and unneccesary step.
- [R69] Grammarly Scanning and censorship: I canceled my paid subscription because you were scanning my texts and determining whether you would provide the service I paid for.
- [R79] Grammarly Can’t use without full access keyboard: That’s a lot to ask.
- [R112] Grammarly No real privacy protections…: A lot to give up, for help with writing? Once enable, then disable…you want to enable again they get access to all typed when disabled before too? No thank you.
